Join Julie Paul or Erica Weakley to make Taylor Swift’s favorite foods! We'll do some dancing, too! Our summer motto: make scratch food, eat well, make friends. Please see below for details about our camps. This class is permitted for students 8-14 years of age.

About Julie: Julie Paul is a pastry chef who has been teaching baking and decorating classes in the Capital Region since 2014. Solo traveling the world is one of her many passions. Follow Chef Julie on Instagram at sweet_sassy_confections.

About Erica: Chef Erica Weakley is a professional pastry chef who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. She has worked in food styling and recipe development along with diving into the world of chocolate. Pastry Arts has been a passion since she was young, and she has spent the last 8 years judging local competitions and teaching her passion at a local college. Now as a mother to two, she is teaching her culinary and pastry skills at CTE in Albany to high schoolers and young adults with special needs. Her love and talent for teaching is just as exceptional as her passion for pastry.

  • Duration: Three-hour classes taught by chef instructors.

    Environment: Fun, relaxed and hands-on! Students learn at tables in groups of four.

    Focus: We strive to teach technique, best kitchen practices to create delicious food.

    Allergens: Nut-free environment (kitchen not nut-free).

    Come Hungry: Bring Tupperware for leftovers.

    Attire: Tie back long hair, wear closed-toe shoes.

    A registration form with emergency contact information, allergy info and other important information will need to be filled out as part of the booking process.
